During the two years I managed One Drop’s blog, I edited more than 200 health-focused articles and wrote more than 50 targeting potential customers at various stages of the marketing funnel.

Managing the blog involved leading monthly editorial planning sessions with cross-functional stakeholders, overseeing a team of several content writers, conducting comprehensive keyword research using Semrush and BrightEdge, monitoring performance through Google Search Console, and updating existing articles to improve search rankings.

Lifestyle blog posts

An extension of the Sylvia Day brand, Beyond Words was an online lifestyle magazine inspired by her life and work. The site launched in 2015 as a means of generating new content for social campaigns and to broaden Sylvia's reach beyond romance readers. I wrote 30+ articles on topics ranging from home decor tips to city guides to feminist lingerie.

Sales and lead-generation content

In addition to writing sales and lead-generation content for One Drop’s enterprise program, I strategized and wrote accompanying email drip campaigns to support each piece. These assets appealed to benefits administrators and increased MQLs for the sales team.

Email marketing

While at One Drop, I worked closely with the digital marketing team to develop monthly email marketing campaigns and write biweekly promo emails. For consumer-targeted campaigns, my emails averaged a 50% open rate and 1-2% click-through-rate.
