Live-Action Direction

Bringing inclusivity, empathy, and curiosity to live-action shoots

Synchronoss brand athem

As part of a comprehensive rebranding, market-leading cloud technology firm, Synchronoss, commissioned this anthem video to humanize and explain its new business platform, Workspace. Shot over three days in multiple locations around New York, the video brings together a cast of more than 25 actors and non-actors to illustrate the variety of environments, lifestyles and devices Workspace easily accommodates. Stills from the shoot were incorporated into an extensive OOH campaign that ran in airports around the world.

Aetna brand anthem

To launch its elegant new logo and brand identity designed by Siegel and Gale, Aetna asked Modop to create an anthem video that would inspire its customers and employees. I helped director Tom Downs concept and direct the short piece which appeared online and also in a takeover of Times Square.

Amazon Kindle

To promote the launch of the new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire Freetime feature, I collaborated with my colleagues at Modop to create these promo videos. I directed child and adult non-actors to elicit genuine reactions and bring to life these game-changing products.
